By submitting a referral form you are agreeing to the following:

We require your acceptance of our terms and conditions at the time we receive your referral and before providing any services. We provide our services to you subject to acceptance of this agreement. We may amend the terms and conditions of this agreement, but the current version will always appear on our website (www.dynamicdevelopments.co.nz). If you continue to use our services after changes are made to this agreement, we will inform you of these changes (updated 01 May 2023)

Services

Dynamic Developments NZ will provide services to the client in accordance with these terms and conditions. Dynamic Developments NZ shall provide the services in accordance with the standards of skill and care reasonably expected from a leading service provider in the therapy industry. All of our therapists are registered with the New Zealand Therapy Association, the governing body for therapists practising in New Zealand.

Therapy Assessment fees

• INITIAL ASSESSMENT - $220 + GST

This includes up to one hour of assessment time with one of our Therapists. A written assessment summary with recommendations is provided.

• ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENTS - $150 + GST PER HOUR

Sometimes clients require more assessments than the initial referral information suggested. When additional testing, report writing, funding applications, observations etc are required over and above our initial assessment charge this will be communicated with the client and charged at our hourly rate. Any additional charges will be advised prior to additional assessment services being provided.

• SPECIALIST ASSESSMENTS - QUOTE PROVIDED ON REQUEST

Therapy Session fees

Therapy professional fees are charged at the whole or part hourly rate of $150.00+gst (as at 01st Jan 2024). After your initial assessment, your lead therapist will recommend a TIER 1 or TIER 2 intervention session depending on the needs identified. Your Therapist will advise the frequency of your therapy required for best outcomes (weekly / fortnightly).

• TIER 1 THERAPY SESSION - $110 + GST

This includes up to 30-minutes direct therapy plus planning / preparation time (45-minutes total)

• TIER 2 THERAPY SESSION - $150 + GST

This includes up to 45-minutes direct therapy plus planning / preparation time (60-minutes total)

• PLANNING AND PREPARATION

All therapy sessions include billable planning and preparation time. Individualised planning and preparation time is required for our gold-standard intervention and the best therapy outcomes for your child. This includes the Therapist’s time spent planning your session, preparing resources, keeping written records, email liaison with parents and teachers, client administration, appointment scheduling, client-specific research, and peer reviews. 10 to 15 minutes of planning and preparation is a requirement for every individual session and included in your session charge

Structured Literacy Fees

Sounds-Write Structured Literacy:

• DIAGNOSTIC LITERACY ASSESSMENT - $240 + GST

The diagnostic assessment is a prerequisite for every new client starting structured literacy with us. This is required regardless of any prior independent assessments that may have been obtained. The information we gather in our initial assessment provides the baseline information we need about your child's current literacy skills and at what level they would start their structured literacy intervention. We get a baseline measure of phonological awareness skills, alphabet code knowledge, decoding (reading) skills, encoding (spelling) skills, reading accuracy and fluency ready to start structured literacy intervention.

• 45-MINUTE LITERACY BOOST® SESSION - $110 + GST

• 60-MINUTE LITERACY BOOST® SESSION - $150 + GST

Other fees

Other fees may be charged if there is work required over and above your regular session time. For example, writing a letter, liaison with the school or other health professionals, preparing additional resources or home programmes. It may also include significant communication or events that have been previously discussed and agreed with the client. This list is not exhaustive and will be an ongoing discussion with you and the therapist where required.

• IEP / PLANNING MEETING ATTENDANCE $150 + GST PER HOUR

• REPORT WRITING AND LETTERS $150 + GST PER HOUR

• ADDITIONAL HOME / SCHOOL RESOURCE - $150 + GST PER HOUR

Travel and Mileage

Travel time & mileage will be calculated as a return trip from the nearest clinic location to the end service location, and return to the clinic base. Travel time & mileage will be calculated from googlemaps.com using the shortest and fastest travel route advised. Travel & mileage may be split between multiple clients when applicable on route for the same therapist services in the same day.

• TRAVEL TIME - $150.00 + GST PER HOUR

• MILEAGE - 0.85 CENTS PER KM (IRD RECOMMENDED RATE 2022)

Cancellation Policy

We accept cancellations up to 24 hours before an appointment is scheduled. You must notify us of your cancellation by email, text, or phone. Our contact details are enquiries@dynamicdevelopments.co.nz and Text 022 100 3995.

• NO CHARGE - MORE THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE

• 50% OF APPOINTMENT FEE - LESS THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE

• 100% of APPOINTMENT FEE - NO NOTICE!

At Dynamic Developments NZ Company, we prepare for each of our appointments thoroughly. There is a limit to the number of clients we see in a day because of the high level of service we guarantee. If you book an appointment with us and don’t turn up – or if you contact us to cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, three things can happen...

• 1. We lose the time we have spent preparing for your appointment – time we could have spent helping another client.

• 2. We don't have enough time to reschedule another client in your appointment time. This reduces the total number of clients we can help that day.

• 3. Clients on our waitlist have a longer wait for our service.

• OVERDUE ACCOUNT CHARGES

If the client does not pay any amount rightfully due to Dynamic Developments NZ Limited under these terms and conditions, the company has the right to charge the client interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 10% per annum (which interest will accrue daily until the date of actual payment and compounded at the end of each calendar month) until the full payment is made.

• DEBT COLLECTION

All costs incurred in the collection of overdue accounts will be payable by the debtor if it is necessary for Dynamic Developments NZ Limited to take any steps to recover an overdue account, all costs and expenses (including taxes thereon and legal fees) incurred, be it in relation to proceedings or otherwise, in enforcing its right to recovery, may be payable in addition to that overdue amount.

Please note - by engaging in our assessment, therapy, and structured literacy services, you are accepting and agreeing to the above read terms and conditions. We will communicate any changes to these terms directly with you.
